Kimber micro 380 problems.

So along comes the Sig P365 last January. I like it very much and am considering trading the Kimber for the Sig. Our local Scheels sells the Sig P365 for $530, but they would put me on a waiting list to receive one. Scheels will give me $475 for my Kimber (DC model with laser grips - MSRP $1095 on Kimber's web site).But my gf left her .380 in the jeep this fall and it got pretty rusted with the weather. I've cleaned it as good as I can and removed all the rust. Feels phenomenal again. However the hammer will not release from cocked position. Nosediving. Have to drop the mag, clear the round, close the slide, insert the mag, and rerack to chamber correctly. One 2nd round chambered OK on its own.
